We stayed at a dumpy motel and hit the road early.

I made Andrew stop to get a picture of this creepy window display at a St. Vincent De Paul

Once when Andrew was a little kid, he goes, "The trees are turning into flowers"

Another stop was made at Fred Smith's Concrete Park in Phillips. My mom likes a quote of his:

"It's gotta be in you to do it"

Then up to Ashland to check out the Motocross races and meet up with Anton (he was up there working on

building his house on his 40 acres in Oulu, 45 minutes west of Ashland)
